1.) The theme of being in love with the wrong person seems to constantly show up throughout the book. Besides Cody being in love with Mischa, what other instances did you notice?
2.) In the final scene, Cody mentions that Mischa looks as miserable as she feels. Do you believe this hints at the fact that they are still being drawn to each other?
3.) Mischa lets outside forces destroy his feelings for Cody. Was this a mistake on his part or are we all destined to become our parents?
4.) The author leaves Cody’s destiny up to the reader. Did she run away from the pressure or did something happen to her?
5.) Cody and Violet’s friendship was ruined because of mistrust and selfishness. Have you ever let one small fight grow into something more and ruin a friendship?
6.) After Cody has her first heartbreak her attitude switches a little, can you name some instances where her normally bold and carefree attitude comes stressed and overworked?
